What Can WVAA Offer You?

The Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association, Inc. is seeking new members to help carry on the spirit of volunteerism in our community. If you are interested in Emergency Medicine, are in good health and are 18 years of age or older, you may apply to become a probationary member. A considerable amount of time is required, but the rewards are abundant.

What Are the Requirements to Join?

In order to become a member a member of Wethersfield Ambulance you must first submit an application for membership to the Board of Directors. Once the application has been accepted you are required to go through a police background and character reference check. Once this portion of the process is done, there is a probationary period. During this initial period you must ride as a third observing member of a WVAA duty crew, attend WVAA monthly membership meetings, and meet all continuing education requirements.
